Sometimes in life you have to make big leaps into the unknown. We suppose that’s what adventure is.
Since 2015 Maschine have enjoyed a fantastic working relationship with KTM Motorcycles Australia. Partnering to support them with event support services on the super successful KTM Rallye events and several product launches. The KTM Rallye events quickly made an impact with riders and became “must do” annual events that would sell out in minutes.
KTM took adventure riding to a whole new scale in 2018 with the Outback Run through the Northern Territory. The task of managing over 250 KTM riders blasting through the outback for a week was amplified by the support structure of cattle trucks for luggage transport, a portable bar and kitchen in a container and helicopters for sweep vehicles. The sight of a KTM 1190 dangling off a rope underneath a helicopter is unforgettable! An event that is not likely to be topped.
In 2019 we also got the first Husqvarna 701 Enduro Trek off the ground. To have an event for a single model is unique but demonstrates the popularity of this model in Australia.
Having worked with a several brands over the years it is fascinating to see how the brand values ring true with both the customers and the product. Nowhere is this more true than with KTM being “Ready To Race”. I always said riding a KTM put the fun into riding for me. Other bikes may get you there but the KTM always put a massive smile on my face for the performance fun factor.
It was a sad day earlier this week when we handed back the super impressive KTM 890 Adventure R.
It has been an absolute pleasure working with the team at KTM whose passion shows through. Thanks must go to Rosie, Ray and Jeff for putting their faith in having Maschine associated with the KTM Group.
Special mention must go to Rosie Lalonde for being such an inspiration to work with who goes above and beyond to ensure everybody has an incredible experience at KTM events.
