Rider Notes

Entry & Track Conditions: The Basin Track is generally fine in dry weather. Be aware that seasonal closures may apply, so always check ahead.

From the Falls: Paradise Falls Road heading north is an easy all-weather gravel road, perfect for a smooth ride back toward Cheshunt or Whitfield if you’re looking for refreshments.

Hike to the Falls: From the car park, a 500-meter walking trail takes you to the waterfall. The hike requires a moderate level of fitness, and adventurous riders can even walk behind the falls.

Check Conditions: Water flow at Paradise Falls can vary significantly depending on the season. Sometimes it’s just a trickle, other times a spectacular cascade.

Navigation Tips: While GPS coordinates for “Paradise Falls” may vary online, using the road names provided (Upper Rose River Road → Basin Track → Paradise Falls Road) in your preferred navigation app will get you there reliably.

Safety & Preparation: Bring your usual adventure gear, plenty of water, and always let someone know your route. Ride within your limits, especially on loose gravel sections.
